Hello, people!
It has officially been two weeks since I last updated my blog.
Wondering what I have been doing?
Surviving.
Yes, that is the right word to choose.
In fact, I have been going through a series of unfortunate events that really left me exhausted and I even thought of giving up. I mean, 3 years of hardwork in the university, just because your supervisor and examiner are each other's enemy, the impact is bestowed upon you. This world is not fair. But again, this world is never fair to begin with.
Surviving is very subjective in fact. How I survive in my own world will differ from how you survive in your world. Anyway, I have been doing a series of travelling too - to Singapore.
I'm in the mid of job hunt and I guess you know why I've been travelling to Singapore.
Hopefully God will answer my prayers soon. I really wish I could settle down in Singapore and there on, my new adventure in life will begin.
Other than job-hunting issue, best of all, I have finally bought my PINK blazer! I have been wanting this pink blazer since a gazillion years ago when I first saw it in Zara last year. However, due to it's ridiculous price at RM279, I didn't get it.
I got mine from Kitschen at only RM99.90 and loving it because it is so, so comfortable. I know, for people like us who are staying in a tropical country, blazers would look weird because people would think, "Is she crazy or what? It's 32 degrees out here and she's wearing a blazer?!"
Believe me, this blazer isn't too thick and it is just right for our tropical weather. You can find it in mint green as well as taupe if you don't like pink.
In fact, the whole set of attire I was wearing in the picture was from Kitschen. Dress retailed at RM19.90 only. So, that is definitely a good news!
I wore it to Singapore over the weekend! Hahaha... Oh, that was my soul mate, checking her email. Hahaha. We were at her brother's place for a short refreshment.
Guess what, people, I was out at The Curve last week and bumped into our second Malaysian Idol, Daniel, performing right in front of Sony outlet.
That was the first time I came so close to a star. I mean, yeah, local star. He was like just 100 to 200 meters away from me and bah... friend was telling me, "OMG, he is so short!"
LOLX!
Anyway, that's it for this entry since I am just letting you all know that I am in the pink of health - yeah, surviving. I still have a series of skincare products reviews coming up but let's say I will leave it for another day since the pictures are in a mess right now.
It's Friday already, so people, enjoy your weekend!

I have found my love...
Not love as in love, love but love as in love for another thing. Ah, ah... re-read it... not a person, it's something else and yeah, it's a thing!
LOLX!
Muahahaha...
Anyway, I have found my love in Dressing Paula. Hiak, hiak, hiak, hiak...
If you don't know yet, Dressing Paula is a new boutique and it's our very own Malaysian brand. All of a sudden, I feel damn semangat to be a Malaysian despite saying I wanna leave this place once and for all. LOLX!

I came to know about this boutique via my ex-colleague where she bought a gorgeous blazer for only RM89.90 and she told me, "I got it at a boutique that looks so posh in Sunway!"
In the first place, I was skeptical, as far as I know, there's nothing that comes cheap in Sunway and then, after my last visit to Pavilion, I spotted Dressing Paula there. Hence, I went in to check things out. Indeed, the prices that I saw range from RM49.90 to RM189.90 and believe me, it's quite affordable because the highest price would usually go to maxi dresses and I don't really buy maxi dresses from high end boutiques because for a similar quality, you can get it cheaper at other places.
Yes, I am a cheapskate, thank you.
So, the other day, I was at Sunway with stupid sister and we decided to just walk into Dressing Paula for you know, look around. It was YES time of the year and bah... it seemed to us that everything in the store was going at 50% discount.
I picked up a tunic or maybe you can call it a dress. The first thing that caught my eyes was the colour. You see, I'm trying to go for more colour variety because my closet is basically full of black and white clothings so... this turquoise dress caught my attention - it's paste turquoise!
I took it and went into the dressing room and voila, I loved it. You know the result already, yes, I bought it. Well... I did take a look at the price - RM89.90 and oh, since I am a big fan of Forever 21, like always, one piece of dress often goes up to RM100 there, so... for RM89.90 only, I can get a dress at Dressing Paula, why not, right?

This dress looks very casual and the thing I love about it is the sleeve part - well, you'll see why. It's not really unique but it's something different from what I'd normally buy for myself.

It's not sexy even though it is lemming towards peek-a-boo type. Hahahaha... I am going nuts these days over sexy and yet down-to-earth dresses these days.
So, unsatisfied with only one purchase, I walked around for a little while more and then, I happened to see this lovely blazer! Although they don't have it in the colour I want and also my size, I bought it - a size bigger. Hahaha. I figured out it doesn't matter when your blazer is a size bigger. Again, I was attracted by this blazer due to it's tiny design on the sleeves.
I am a sleeve-person after all.

I found a similar piece at Zara the other day but it retails for RM279.90 for the exact colour that I want - shocking pink but when I came to think of it, splurging RM280 for only a piece of blazer that is pink isn't really worth it, so, I skipped.
Anyway, yeah, I bought this one at 50% discount. How can I resist?
Best of all, boo... I can pair it up with the turquoise dress I bought and voila again, from casual, you can go into ready-to-work mode!

It was a funny thing when I made payment. I drew out RM150 because I thought the total purchase would be somewhere around RM140 but when I looked and looked again at the receipt, I realize the turquoise dress was less than RM60!!!
Damn, I should have bought more dresses but due to insufficient time, I headed home!
I will be going back very soon, at least I know CNY is coming and hahaha... Dressing Paula, I've found my HG boutique in you and I will visit again real soon!
Have you been to Dressing Paula yet?
LOLX!

Beauty re-discovered!
Remember this?

Oh, yes... remember me?
LOLX! That should be the lamest and coldest joke ever - of course everyone remembers me uglypretty and pathetic innocent face, right?
Nah, no worries, I won't be talking about myself neither will I talk about my lousy life. Today... I am gonna talk about this!

I am sure all of you beauty junkies out there know about the infamous 88 colour palette, right? I've gotten in 3 years back and guess what? I've completely forgotten about this until last July, when I went back to my hometown and discovered it hidden among my books!
Now, tell me, which smart arse actually hid this eyeshadow palette among other books?
*it's me*
Aherm...

I am not sure about everyone out there but well... I came to love this palette when I first started with makeup and when I knew zero about eyeshadows and blending. That was before I got to know about brands like NYX, Sleek or Urban Decay.
I purchased this at RM90 inclusive of shipping. I think you can get this palette for around RM50 plus shipping nowadays. So, I experimented a lot with this palette back then and I even used this palette to do makeup for bride's maids. Amazing, there are still a lot of products left!
Thus, I've decided to re-swatch most of the shades just in case you are interested with this palette. No, I am not selling this palette. You can go to LYN and find someone who sells this and well... sadly, LYN is only for Malaysians.
Well, these are the swatches but mind you, I applied my eyeshadow primer before swatching, so the colours you'll be seeing, of course, are INTENSE! Therefore, don't come to me and point out I am a liar because these eyeshadows aren't pigmented enough. They are pigmented but not all.

I bet alongside with the primer, the eyeshadows seemed pigmented from the two pictures above, right?
I discovered something while I was in the mid of swatching - there is actually a gold shade among all the other eyeshadows and hey, how on Earth could I missed it back then? I mean, I was heartbroken when I saw no gold shade inside but only last night, I got to know there is a gold shade available and well... it doesn't look gold on its own.
Anyway, here's my verdict since I said nothing about it 3 years back.
Those are my two-cent. I am not gonna promote any blog selling this or whatsoever since you can easily spot one anywhere.
Price - RM45 to RM60
Product - 2.5 out of 5
Packaging - 2 out of 5
Availability - LYN, Sungai Wang
Re-purchase - No
At the end of the day, I still prefer my UD and NYX palettes, so, I guess I won't be going back to pick up more of these. As much as they are suitable for bridal or photography makeup, I figured out I won't be using these colours much, so... well... not gonna repurchase or anything.

Hahahahahahaha... I looked like a mad woman with skin disease in the picture above, don't I? Anyway, before I end... lemme show you my haul of the week!

I finally got a new handbag because the current Guess bag that I am using is at the verge of breaking up with me.
Listen, Parkson Elite Card holders, there's sales going on for branded bags and clothes up to 70% so, if you go there with your card, you might be able to buy selected handbags from Guess at only RM111. Of course, first come first serve. Imagine a normal price for a Guess handbag retails at around RM400 and above and before 11th of November, you can get it for RM111. Hahahaha... How does that sound to you?
I've decided to switch from Guess to Pierre Balmain this time around.

I have been a faithful supporter of Guess because their handbags really tahan lasak, I kid you not! My cousin gave me one 7 years back and up to this day, the bag is still good despite the rough me. During my birthday this year, good ol' brother of mine, together with mumsy bought another Guess bag for me but perhaps, nowadays, the material isn't that good and that new Guess bag is gonna die soon...
Anyway, I got this bag at 70% discount - go and figure out the price on your own at Parkson. I'm too lazy to remember anything.
Last but not least...

You all know how crazy I am towards stuffs with lace so, when I was at a boutique with stupid sister this afternoon, I saw this pair of flats and fell in love with them immediately because they're so cute and at the same time, lacey! So, don't tempt me with lace, people!
Have a great week!

Pros
Affordable price if you're gonna compare this palette to brands like MAC, Shu Uemura, Urban Decay or Bobbi Brown. Hey, it's even cheaper than NYX. Best thing, there are a lot of colours or shades to choose from, especially if you're doing makeup for someone's big day! Shimmer shades are very pigmented. Easily found online or you can try to go to a stall on the 6th floor of Sungai Wang - it retails for RM45 to RM55 only. Cheap plastic packaging that broke as soon as it got to me.
Cons
Matte colours are not pigmented. Blending using these shades isn't easy but it isn't tough too. Not all the colours are suitable for everyday use. Shimmer shadows always result in fall-outs.
Those are my two-cent. I am not gonna promote any blog selling this or whatsoever since you can easily spot one anywhere.

The silent killer
The time when I went shopping, I had in mind, "I need to get a pair of new heels!"
Consider me as very westernize but honestly, I am not really into cute makeup because I don't think I can handle any daily dose of cuteness. I'd rather be remembered as sexy instead of cute. I have my own reason for that.
So, I went to Vincci and coincidentally, they were having 50% sales and guess what? Being a typical shopaholic I was, I ran into the outlet and began hunting for something that would strike my interest.
Suddenly, at the corner of my eyes, I saw something shimmery and glittery - it completely got my attention!
My legs darted to the corner and hastily, I picked this gorgeous pair of heels up from the shelf!

I was considering to get another pair in black because Dr. Wong told me it looked gorgeous on me. Luckily I did not listen to him! Hahaha...
Indeed, this pair of heels is a silent killer. It may not be cancerous but wearing it from morning to night during work was a total torture! I thought I could be glamour, yes, I was glamourous because I received compliments even from my boss but then again, my feet were so sore and they ached like no tomorrow!
The reason is simple!

The heels are of 5 inches of height respectively and it's sooooo narrow that people around me were scared I might just fell and sprain my ankles!
Wasn't it amusing?
That's all for the fashion post on a Friday!
Enjoy your weekends, people!

Worst Cotton-On Encounter
Just in case I've never mentioned about it, aside from Forever 21, Kitschen and Nichii, my other favourite hangout retail outlet that sells affordable clothes has to be Cotton On.

C'mon, which one of us doesn't love cheap and affordable clothes that don't make us look ragged? Well, for sure I am one of the girls who loves fashion but, I can't afford to shop high end brands all the times!
Hence, Cotton On has to be in my favourite Top 5 shopping hangouts!

Imagine both dresses above retail for RM59 and RM49 respectively. Well... so much cheaper than Forever 21 of course and yet, still trendy!
Sometimes, Cotton On even offers 50% discount for their existing stocks and they even have promotions like Buy 2 RM75 or stuffs like that. Irresistible, right? Well, I think so too!
Normally, my visits to Cotton On outlets around Klang Valley have forever been pleasant that I always ended up buying something, but during my most recent visit to Cotton On, Pavilion, KL, the attitude of the staff freaked me out and Cotton On, Pavilion, I'm afraid I've to say this but here goes nothing...
SHAME ON YOU, COTTON ON STAFF, PAVILION, KL!!! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON YOUR STUPID ATTITUDES!!!
Lemme tell you what happened.
On 4th of May 2011, that was last week, I went there with stupid sister because both of us wanted to get a top that we fell in love with when we saw it at Cotton On, Midvalley. It was due to insufficient time that we didn't manage to try the tops on. So, we went to Pavilion the following weekend to pick up the tops.
Little did we know, our encounter with the staff working on that day totally put us off and I swear, I've never met such unfriendly, ignorant and rude staff at other Cotton On-s before! Hey, I used to work for retail outlet too and we were not taught to be rude to our whosoever that walks into the outlet but Cotton On, Pavilion, you've completely shamed yourselves, having such staff!
What happened as soon as we entered the outlet was, I began to look around for a decent dress but even before I could pick out a dress, one of the male staff came up to me and kept on asking, "What dress are you looking for?" "What size do you want?" and bla, bla, bla, yada, yada, yada.
Hey, did your management tell you NOT TO HARASS YOUR CUSTOMERS? I went into your retail because I did not know what you have in store and I would love to look around before picking up a dress and yet, this staff of yours kept on following me everywhere I went and whenever I touched a piece of dress, he kept on repeating, "What dress do you want?"
HOW ANNOYING CAN THAT ACTUALLY GET?
Couldn't that staff of yours just leave me alone and until I've seen something I like, I'd ask for assistance?
I ditched the idea of finding a dress after that and went to your t-shirts' section with stupid sister instead. So, we saw the tops and immediately, stupid sister reached for the colour and design she wanted while I couldn't find the colour I wanted. So, I asked another female staff of yours, "Do you have this in black? I thought your outlet in Midvalley has it." So, she was busy folding clothes and her answer once again, put me off, "Can't you see if there's no black on the shelves, that means, we don't have it."
OH MY GAWD, HOW RUDE?!
Hey, we didn't even open up all the folded shirts and yet, that female staff of yours were so, so rude to us! I only meant to ask a question and yet, she answered me in such a manner? Hey, I am a customer, okay?! I did ask nicely because I was happy that day!
I didn't wanna create a scene with her, hence, I proceeded to head to the fitting room. Okay, nothing special happened in the fitting room but once I came out, stupid sister motioned for me to enter again to give comment on the other tops she was trying on. So, I stood right outside her fitting room, which was the last room on our right.

A moment later, another male staff who was in-charge of the taking care of the fitting room, hastily approached me and said, "You cannot be here if you're not trying, you're obstructing the traffic! You've to go outside and wait."
I was obstructing the traffic? Like how? How did I obstruct the traffic if I DID NOT STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LANE IN THE FITTING ROOM?!
At that point of time, I was already feeling like smacking all the rude staff in that outlet because they got on my nerve. Normally, I am not someone who can be easily angered but all the staff at Cotton On did a job well done in stepping on my tail with their unfriendliness and also rudeness!
I have a good intention of scolding the rude male staff but stupid sister kept on trying to stop me because she really wanted to buy the top and told me to just keep my sanity.
Did your staff receive training before they officially start working? If so, why did the situation that I've mentioned above happened, some more, on a not so busy week day?
I took a deep breath after that and headed to the cashier counter - no cashier in sight. So, I stood there for at least 5 to 7 minutes but still, no cashier. Lemme repeat, there were not a lot of customers in your outlet that day and I can remember it very clearly because I was the only one standing at the register, waiting for the cashier to show up!
HEY, ENOUGH OF CRAPPY ATTITUDES BUT EVEN WHEN IT COMES TO PAYING FOR GOODS, YOU'RE DELAYING YOUR SERVICE TOO?!
Although the other staff did see stupid sister and I standing right in front of the register, none of them actually motioned or called for the cashier to collect the payment! I really, really was so pissed off at that point of time! Only then, another male staff came, so, he was the cashier that day?! He saw us in front of the register and he made us wait and wait?!
GOODNESS GRACIOUS! YOUR SERVICE IS NOTHING BUT NONSENSE!
I can still remember so clearly that there weren't a lot of people in your outlet that day! If your staff were delivering such service at the time where there are a lot of customers, I would understand your situation but, lemme repeat again, THERE WERE NOT A LOT OF CUSTOMERS THAT DAY!
That was my WORST encounter with the WORST staff at Cotton On!
After this, I don't think I'll be taking another step back into Cotton On, Pavilion. The team of staff who deliver such service SUCKS and their PR skills seem below zero to me!
Rude, unfriendly, rushy, impatient, bla, bla, bla...
I don't wish to go on about this issue because it is certainly nothing to be proud of, instead the store manager should feel ashamed having to work with such staff. But still, I will be frequenting the outlet in perhaps Midvalley or 1 Utama, at least they are helpful and friendly.

Forever Young, Forever 21
Admit it, the moment when your age hits 21, that's the moment your sanity will shout, "Merdeka, merdeka!" or "Freedom, freedom!"
Now, you're legally an adultand you can finally get married.
At least that was what I felt when I hit 21 few years back, thinking I no longer need to be under the control of my parents and that, I'm old enough to make my own decisions but then again, after 21, the nightmare begins - the journey into adulthood where you've to graduate, get a job, start earning and living off yourself to pay your loans.
*headache*
I am in that phase right now.
Still... sometimes, when I'm really tensed or stressed up, the only place I wanna go to is Forever 21. Erm... I am not a nature-loving person nor am I an adventurous or active person. I prefer to be somewhere with air-conditioning. Yes, I'm a lazy pig and I am terrified of sweating.
Now, you'll know the reason why there are a lot of entries about Forever 21 lately. Yes, I've been to all the Forever 21 outlets within Klang Valley recently because yes, I am stressed that I needed my daily dose of stress-killer - window-shopping!
I went there unequipped with cash but somehow or rather, blame it on the credit cards that I've spent a lot in Forever 21 lately - I hate myself! I went into all the outlets in a rage and started trying on a lot of dresses!
Basically, these are the dresses I have tried and loving but I've got no fixed income to get all of them and if I do, the parents are gonna swallow me alive!

Look at the prices and see what I mean. LOLX! Although I wouldn't say they are at all very expensive but they are not really very affordable too but what to do? I love Forever 21's dresses especially and I don't really mind paying for them since they're of better quality comparing to those found in Sungai Wang or Times Square.
Best of all, their sizes can fit me! LOLX! Hahahaha... I can even fit into a S or M size depending on the design. OMG... I am losing weight, darn! Okay, I'm being random, forgive me!

So, in the end, I bought a piece of toga top, a dress and a floral knitted top that these three pieces of clothes cost almost RM300 after the student privilege 10% discount.
*ho mai gawd!*
There goes my monthly spending!
Looks like I'd need to survive through hunger throughout May 2011 since I've used up my pocket money and gosh! What am I going to eat?!
Still, I am dreaming of the Painted Chiffon Maxi Dress because I love it, love, love, love it! I'm trying to restrain myself from going back to Forever 21 because I for sure know that if I step into another Forever 21, I'll definitely spend another RM99 to get that maxi dress even though I don't promise I'll wear it though.
Lesson of a lifetime - make sure you only have one daughter in future or else, if you're a parent, then, you'll be having headache if your daughter is someone like me, makeup junkie and self-proclaimed fashionista. High maintenance is in the list, so... I'm going to be so dead if I don't earn enough to support myself. Hahahahaha.
Then again, Imma gonna make it an effort to wear the dresses I've bought!

Love Affair with Forever 21
I guess all close friends of mine know how much I adore Forever 21. Even during my last visit to Bangkok, I spent quite some time in one of the Forever 21 outlets there. Believe it or not, the prices there are actually cheaper than those we have over here in Malaysia.
So, I went to Forever 21 with stupid sister over the weekend and fell in love with several tops and dresses there. I wish I were rich enough to have purchased all the tops and dresses! FML that I'm jobless with a thesis to finish.
We'll leave that for another day.
Okay, here comes the most exciting part!
*screams*
Lemme show you my finds of the day! For RM99 or USD$22.80, you can get this gorgeous satin dress for formal functions and still, looking sweet!

OMG, OMG... I missed purchasing this Colorblock Pleats Dress because stupid sister was telling me, "Where in world are you going to wear this dress to?"

Grrr... I should head back to get this dress soon! I don't fancy working life even though I only work in the evening. FML but for the sake of the irresistible moo-lah, what can I do? I'll be getting this dress soon, let's cross our fingers that it'll still be available by the time I get there. Sure the parents are gonna bombard me with AK47 later for spending so much!
It has been ages since I tried on maxi dresses. I used to think only maxi dresses suit a fatso like me but it appears that maxi dresses emphasize your size more! Ah-hah, I couldn't make up my mind and tried on this Crochet Maxi Dress that retails at RM119 or USD$24.80 because I thought it looked sweet!

Please don't hate me because I know the following picture is gonna make you puke especially if you're eating right now - please don't curse me too. LOLX!

I know, I know, it emphasizes my thick waistline. FML... I have shorter and heavier upper body if you'd notice and I don't really like it a bit!
Thus, I didn't get this maxi dress!
If any of you out there don't know, stripes are the IN things this season! I swear I own not more than 10 pieces of dresses or tops with stripes but it appears I own more than 10 pieces in my closet. LOLX!

I'm loving stripes so, so much that if I come across more of these tops and dresses, I will still get more of them! Stripes never go out of style actually!

Striped Seafarer Tunic retails at RM89 or USD$19.80 and honestly, for the fabric, I'd say it costs a little too much. Hence, even though I have a thing for stripes, I didn't get this piece. If only they're on the shelves for Fabulous Finds that is less than RM50, I might get it.
Another thing, if you don't know as well, I am anal about lacey materials because I always think lace is the definition for SEXYand I know I am too sexy and hot for you to handle. Well, if your lingerie is made of lace, then, it's PURE love!

This Lace Dress with Contrast Belt retails for RM89 or USD$24.80 at your nearest F21 outlet. The thing about this dress is that although it looks nice on the model but it emphasizes my hugeness!

See what I mean? I hate it when dresses and tops make you look gigantic! Don't you think so too? Especially you're very much aware of your size, like me. LOLX!
Sigh, sigh, sigh... what am I gonna do with my humongous size?
Sometimes, I just need a simple piece of dress that I could wear on a casual day - something that is not too fancy or flowery but since summer is in, I guess flowers are the IN things too right now.

Flora Contrast Dress retails at RM59 or USD$12.80 at Forever 21. Well, looks sweet but remember I told you about me, having heavier and shorter upper body? Not good, not good...

See, I told you so! Argh... need to lose some extra pounds here and there but then again, it's not easy to lose those inches off since you know, it's in the genetic that our upper bodies are heavier and shorter.
Anyway, here are some pictures of other tops and dresses that I've tried. I'm kinda in a rush right now, hence, there will be no reference pictures from Forever 21. However, if you're interested, I'll be listing the prices in MYR.
In which, among all of the tops and dresses, I got the Vertical Stripes Toga Top. I know it comes at a hefty RM119 but we students have 10% off privilege at Forever 21 these days. So, if you're interested, just flash your student card and you'll be entitled for the discount!
Alrighty... gonna end the Forever 21 entry here for now because I need to head off to prepare some stuffs for work tonight!
Stay tune for part 2! I love playing dressing up!
Before I go, yay... finally, I've gotten my first ever Sembonia handbag that retails at RM329 at only RM39 at Sogo sales! Oh gosh, how I love sales! LOLX! Hahahaha... I love fabulous finds all year round!

Sogo is having sales for branded items like Carlo Rino, Bonia, Jeep, Sembonia, Polo and a lot of other brands until 5th of May 2011. Well, head there if you're interested - I'm sure you can find fabulous handbags from CR or Sembonia at the lowest price of RM29.
Have a wonderful week ahead!

The Little Black Dress
"Darn, I've got no UUMMPPHH dress for the big day!"
You know, we girls always worry about not having the PERFECT dress for our first dates.
Ladies and gentleman, may I present to you the BIGGEST problem in my life - I am a noob at first dates!
"OMG... I have no nice dresses!"
"OMG... I can't do my own makeup!"
"OMG... I'm bad listener!"
"OMG... I don't know what to tell him!"
Okay, I'm like a TOTAL noob now, you may proceed to laugh at me!
LOLX!
That is the time when The Little Black Dress will come into the picture! Which one of us, girls, don't love The Little Black Dress? Black is the new pink, green, yellow, blue, whatever! It'll make you look slimmer and leaner and of course, classier and more elegant!
The other day, when I was supposed to hunt for one, ended up in Forever 21 at Pavilion, falling in love with this shirt.

Mickey-kisses-Minnie shirt and I love it. Priced at RM75, I made up my mind on not getting it since with RM75, I can get The Little Black Dress already!
I freaking, freaking love this shirt, okay? When I went back to F21 a week later, no more stocks left. I mean, WTF, so laku meh?
Looks like our destiny ended there - goodbye Mickey-kisses-Minnie shirt, I'm gonna keep you in my memory!
Hence, yesterday, I went to Cotton On and spotted two lovely black dresses!

I love the dress above - well, I should be because I love the detailing on the sleeves - lace, baby, lace! I love anything with lace! I'm anal about laces! The dress is priced at RM59 but I didn't get this piece because I don't like the elasticity of it around my waist - makes my waist looks enormous when it's not.
Then, tried on the second black dress...

Fell in love immediately. Hahahahaha... I'm anal about being sexy too. Hey, I didn't get to be sexy back then, okay? It's only now, I get to be a little more sexier than back then. Hahaha. That's my life for you.
With the price of RM49, hey, don't you want to get it? Yes, I bought it, baby! OWNAGE! Chopped and certified it belongs to me now!
Well, this little black dress is certainly NOT for everyday wear but yeah, I have it for my first dates in future. Oops, I shall wear it anytime I like!

Dianna Agron inspired look
Okay, honestly, I don't freaking know who Dianna Agron is or what Glee is all about. LOLX! Yeah, call me a drama noob because my life is as monotonous as that! Nah, I don't do dramas or anything. End of story.
So, I was googling and browsing through Marlena's site when I saw she did a look inspired by Dianna Agron of Glee. Now, you're talking gleeful language!

Gorgeous but I've decided to just ditch the hairstyle because I can't pull it off properly with my newly cut bangs! So, I did a look inspired by her and also Marlena!

And what I love about the look - the crisp line at the sides of your eyes! Well... I used exactly what Marlena used for this look since hey... I have Naked by Urban Decay and that's the reason why I'm so excited to do it.

Last but not least, this is the full-faced look I've created and no, I'm NOT implying that I look like Dianna or Marlena. I'm just me and no one special.

I kinda regret getting bangs. Well... I think I can't pull it off properly with my round, plump and fat face. Darn...
On the other note...

This is totally random but I love, love, love my outfit of the day and also my bohemian-inspired sandals!
Have a wonderful week ahead!
