Clawset Cafe @ SS22 Damansara Jaya

A lot of my friends know that I've moved to KL permanently and as a result of moving across the South China Sea, I have to leave behind my pets at home, in the care of my parents. There are times when I really do miss those brats at home. I have discussed with my sister about shipping the pets over to KL but in the end, the plan didn't work out because we both think our pets will be happier to be staying on landed house.

Sighs... so much for missing my pets.

Since we don't really get to see our pets often, stupid sister and I went over to Clawset Cafe at SS22, Damansara Jaya to visit some of the doggies and kitties there.

Once you get to the cafe, you will be greeted by fur babies at the entrance. All you have to do is to proceed to order at the cashier counter, then, you go and find your seats. While waiting for the food to be served to you, you get to play along with the fur babies.

On the whole the food there is nothing to shout about but the fur babies were adorable! One particular doggie that stood out among the rest was this little guy.

I think this puppy is only a few months old judging from the way he actually walked around. He walked up to me and I couldn't resist but to hold him in my arms. I fell in love. At that moment, I wished I could bring him home but the owners of Clawset Cafe said he is not for sale.

I had him on my laps for 3 whole hours we were there and he did not even move about. He laid in my arms and on my laps, soundly asleep.

Awww... I wish my little doggie at home would be so obedient!

Of course there are other doggies at Clawset Cafe.

Among them, the more popular ones would be their Poomeranians.

We actually lost track of time when we got there.

Another attraction would be their cats - Mr. Grumpy!

I guess the cats were unlike the dogs that day. They were not responding well to human beings and honestly, I think they were thinking, "Humans, I am not in the mood. Get away from me! Get your smelly and dirty hands away from me!"

LOL!

If you're thinking about going to any pet cafes along Klang Valley, do pay Clawset Cafe a visit!

Lulu, you will be dearly missed!

I have always been a cat person all my life.

Back then, when I was a kid, I remember, we used to keep 13 cats. In the end, mum had to give the cats away because we did not have any space at home to keep all cats. We ended up keeping 1 to 3 cats and every four months, when the new batch of kittens were born we would choose our favourite cats and keep 1 or 2.

Lulu came in as the last batch because my brother neutered her when she was just a few months old.

Since then, Lulu grew bigger and bigger.

Our love towards her grew because she taught us to be patient and more caring towards animals. She used to rescue unknown kitties and brought them home to feed them until my parents were shocked of the sudden presence of these kitties. They had to give away these kitties.

I guess, it is indeed true that animals are loving towards each other.

Our Lulu was the most patient cat that we ever had.

She had the best temper and never really did get annoyed or angry at us. She would purr loudly and requested for tummy rub all the times.

She would come into the house and waited for us to wake up every morning outside of our room's door.

After breakfast, her daily activities would be to lie on the sofa and sleep. In the afternoon, she would wake up for her lunch before sneaking away. She would re-appear during dinner time and then on, she would stay with us in the living room until the next day.

During those days when my brother wasn't around the house, Lulu would sit in front of the room, staring blankly into it, half expecting my brother to be in the room. This had been her habit because my brother always brought her into the room with him whenever he was around.

I remember how it always melted my heart when I saw Lulu waiting right outside the room. I used to tell myself, Lulu, you've make us love you each and every day!

When Toto came few months ago, she felt threatened.

She fought for attention even though we did give her attention. I still played with her and even hugged her to sleep from time to time.

Over the few months, somehow, Lulu learned to perhaps like Toto a little bit. She began to approach him.

This made us appreciated her more - she was willing to share our attention and love with Toto.

My heart sank when I got back today and stupid sister announced to me that Lulu had passed away.

She had been sick for the past 3 days. We had brought her to the vet twice and still, she was not getting any better. We have tried so hard to nurse her to health but I guess sometimes things are just not meant to be.

We are really going to miss this beloved cat of ours so, so much.

Dearest Lulu, there will be no other cats in this world that could replace you presence in our hearts. We love you and thank you for every little thing that you have taught us during the 7 years you have been with us. Rest in peace, our dearest cat.

Getting fit and food

Hello, everyone!

It's a Wonderful Wednesday today!

Phew... it has been a whirlwind 3 weeks for me! I guess it's supposed to be a normal 3 weeks but due to the fact that I am on a diet, I feel the weeks were very long.

Now, before you think my diet is going to fail again, lemme tell you - I want to lose 10kg. Yes, that would be my target and best part of it.

Yes, baby, I am halfway through that 10kg! I have lost 5kg so far and 5kg more to go!

Alas, there are always temptations!

Food is good but at the same time, it is evil!

I have been fighting temptations and I am so glad I managed to stay on my track - firm and solid. However, that doesn't mean I have been missing out on the fun! In fact, I have been more active! I've been on a journey of food hunt with my friends.

There was one day when BFFs craved for some noodles and rice. So, we ended up visiting the infamous cafe called Cafe Cafe - my all time favourite!

We had one of the best Seafood Yee Mee in town.

Other than that, we also ordered the infamous Pineapple Fried Rice.

Two-thumbs up for having this at Cafe Cafe! Succulent breaded chicken tenders, sweet pineapple and raisin fried with rice - absolutely tasty!

The Tom Yum Seafood Noodles is another dish to die for at the cafe.

I can still feel the taste of Tom Yum lingering in my mouth as I am blogging about it. Yum, yum! There are big prawns in the noodles!

Aargh, I can't wait to go back to Cafe Cafe for this over the weekend! Stupid sister and I have a date with daddy at Cafe Cafe!

Another favourite - Nestum Chicken!

Gggrrrrr... I am salivating even though I am on diet!

Best ever!

Lemme show you a picture of Sarawakian version of Marmite Chicken.

The generous amount of onions made the dish smells so, so good! I guess they marinated the chicken real good as well to have taste so heavenly!

The following picture features Beef Rendang with Fried Buns.

It's stupid sister's favourite!

Last but not least, another general dish - buffalo wings but Cafe Cafe version

There is nothing to shout about for this dish because I have tasted better buffalo wings but there is no complain about it.

Just so prove to all of you I don't always eat out, I do have pictures of homemade food to share with you. Yes, I am eating healthy now.

I made kimbap!

For those of you who don't know what kimbap is, kimbap is Korean version of sushi. The difference is that kimbap comes with pickled radish and some people serve it with kimchi whereas for sushi, it is served with the infamous wasabi.

Other than that, I made Ramen Burger too!

I know this is not really healthy but I took a quarter of it only. Luckily my weight did not shoot up after eating that quarter! Hahahaha!

I will share my recipe with all of you maybe some time later.

Lovely and I...

I'm always hungry...

I don't know why...

No, I'm not pregnant!

Never mind, no big deal...

Since I'm always hungry these days, I've decided to eat up my hamster!

Damn hungry that day, alright? I returned home from work only to find my brother and daddy were not around. I searched everywhere for food but I could find nothing. In the end, I've decided just to eat my hamster since it caught my attention!

But after I saw my Lovely struggling for life, I let it go. Hahaha... Something else happened when I wanted to eat her.

She talked to me - with words! OMG... Lovely talked to me and she said, "Go away, you carnivorous witch!"

Guess how surprised I was...

Then, I made peace with her by telling her that I'm NOT ever going to bully her like I always do whenever I'm being too free.

Alright, I'm a bitchy witch because you can never believe how I literally torture Lovely everyday... Lemme tell you...

Sometimes, I'll toss her in the air and catch it with my palms...

Sometimes, I'll roll her around on the floor...

It was damn funny when 2 months ago, her feet got stuck in the cage and she was in human term, yelling for help. I only got to know her feet were stuck in the morning because I didn't check her out the night before.

Never mind... I'm not here to tell you what a bad person I am but since Lovely and I made peace already, she let me snap a really cute picture of her...

Alrighty... going to class now...

Oh, yeah, Lovely says hi...

Harlow, we iz kitties!

I'm feeling so freaking moody and lazy right now.

You know why?

It's because, from tomorrow onwards until next Wednesday, I'll be working non-stop for once again and that includes Saturday and Sunday, mind you.

So, in order to make myself happy for once again, Imma going to share some lame pictures of my kitties. I really miss my kitties so very much...

Waaaaaahhhh... I miss the kitties so much but still, still... I'm feeling terribly tired even just thinking about work and money-related problems. I wish I don't need to worry about all that and go through life happily each and every day.

Sigh... Kitties...

Yawn... I'm so sleepy after posting up this lame entry... I think I should go to bed early since I need to be up early tomorrow.

Good night, everyone!

Kiss my blues away

I found a temporary cure that would kiss your blues away - not permanently but at least kissing your blues away for a while is better than nothing - Fruit Lassi. Don't you know sweet stuffs like chocolates can contribute additional inches to your waistline?

Aiks... I should have known this little fact myself but for the previous few days, I've been chomping down on chocolates my brother's friend bought from overseas. Darn... Now, there goes my diet!

Whatever... At last I found joy within homemade fruit lassi that will not cost a bomb but it always will cost you a bomb if you order these drinks outside.
Well, I've made Papaya Lassi yesterday and this morning, I had Mango Lassi. You can choose any other fruits or just mix the fruits together. I've few suggestions on what fruits to mix by the way.

1. Banana + Strawberry
2. Banana + Mango
3. Orange + Lime
4. Orange + Papaya
5. Pineapple + Apples
6. Green Apples + Red Apples
7. Papaya + Apples
8. Papaya + Banana

If you'd love a tinge of difference, try adding tomatoes or cucumbers into your lassi. It'd be more than just cooling that way. Personally, I love anything with papaya and apples but since I'm not a fruity, fruity person - let's just go straight to the point.
Ingredients
Fruits or vegetables - amount depends on your likings.
2 tbsp of low-fat natural yogurt - RM5.35 for 450gm.

1 tbsp of honey - depends if you have sweet tooth or not.

Method - Just put everything into your blender and blend away - remember adding ice cubes to make it tastes better.
Taa-daah, this was the end product of Papaya Lassi... I know it looks gross in picture but believe me, it tasted better than how it looked like then...

And by the way, yeah, I forgot to blend my ice cubes together with the drink so, that explains the three floating stuffs in the glass, alright?

Next up... This is something I've wanted for so damn long. I thought they're gonna come in pink but too bad they only have blue and white... Since I'm not a blue person although I'm feeling blue now, I chose a white one instead.

Lemme show you the process of officializing this thing! The picture below shows yours truly, trying to rip open my star product!

I know, I have swollen eyes - the picture was taken right after a good cry. Check out my expression - damn kesian and swollen. I also kesiankan myself when I saw the picture last night. Why would I take picture of me being in such a stupid state?

Alright, that's another story!
Yay, I've finally bought this convenient box from Ikea for RM19.90 and damn cheap, okay? I've been eyeing on this box ever since Alice told me about it 2 years ago or so.

Darn... I was on a really tight budget and didn't want to spend much but now, I'm so much in need to organize my piling make-up products! You'll scare yourself out of your skin if you are to see how messy my make-up products look like before having this convenient box! I kinda dumped everything in a pink bag and I always had hard time trying to locate things inside the box! Thank you, Ikea, for such a wonderful creation!

I can even put my make-up brushes into the box, that's one of the happiest buy! From now on, I don't need to turn the room upside down to find my brushes because the brushes are put together with the other make-up products!

That means, bye-bye pinkie bag... You've served me well and now, it's time to put you to rest! Rest in peace, my dearly beloved pink bag...

Anyway, I'll just let you see the organization of my make-up products in the convenient box. Even though it isn't BIG enough to occupy all the make-up products, at least three quarter of my make-up products are placed inside the box already. Well, for another one quarter, I figure out I should go and get another one.

From left to right, starting from brushes section...

Section 1 - Brushes, brushes and more brushes.
Section 2 - False lashes and adhesive lashes glue.
Section 3 - Lip glosses, lipsticks and mascaras.
Section 4 - Foundation and eyeshadows.
Section 5 - Pigments and blusher.
I'm having headache trying to figure out how to store my 88 colour palette and also eyeshadows from Britney Spears with few more liquid foundations. Headache, headache...
Alright, lemme show you something meaningful for now...

I was surfing the net a while ago and came across this picture with caption. It somewhat touches my broken-heart and all of a sudden, I wish I own a doggie. Perhaps, it could cheer me up at time like this...

Lulu is looking for her friend, a man named Ed who had recently passed away. She returned to his door looking for him several times after he died.

If only I have a doggie that's as faithful as the poodle above. How can you be not touched if you somehow know, even when you've passed away, the pet you used to love and cared for comes back, scratching at the door, trying to find its way to get to you?

Sometimes, I do have to agree that owning a pet is better than you, having to entertain your boyfriend or girlfriend.

Thus, war begins...

Once upon a time, in a far away kingdom, there lived a wannabe Rottweiler doggie called GW Bush. Initially GW Bush was not called GW Bush but Kiki. Kiki adopted the name of GW Bush because of his cruelty towards his people. Thus, he was known as GW Bush from then on.

GW Bush always picked on the weaker people to prey on them. He would bite, shook and sometimes scared them off.

His underlings like Eevee or better known as T-Blair or Saadam @ Bobo were scared of him whenever he made appearances.

~ Bobo a.k.a. Saadam ~

~ Eevee a.k.a. T-Blair ~

Saadam, being the number one opposition of GW Bush finally made a decision to kick GW Bush's butt, so, he contacted his private investigators, Lulu and Blackie, to assist him. Lulu, being all white in colour, could not show herself because she looked obvious in daylight while Blackie, being all black, always stroke off at midnight because nobody could see him.

~ Saadam, contacting Blackie ~

~ Saadam: Psst, Blackie, here's how to do it ~

Soon, GW Bush instead or ruling the people, was captured and chained to perfection. Both Saadam and T-Blair were happy that they were finally freed from the torture of GW Bush.

At the end of the day, everyone was happy, thus, Lulu and Blackie demanded T-Blair and Saadam to pay them...

Until we meet again, folks, they said.

Meanwhile, Blackie, being black as he was, was an angry kitten all the times, so, he got mad when people stared at him, so...

Muahaha.

I know it's lame...

When sunny day is not sunny anymore...

Have you ever look forward to a new day, a new sunny day and it turns out not sunny at the end of the day?

Ever since I got back to Sibu, everyday is a sunny day because of him... Yes, he was one of the sources of my joy being in Sibu... The thought of him every morning made me wake up and anticipate for him just to sit by my side but now... all these will only be memories...

He left me yesterday morning...

The thought of losing him didn't even cross my mind the night before when he was still around. He was happily running about and being very pampered.

Now, he's gone... I can't hear him calling any longer, I can't get to see him any longer...

He might not be super handsome fellow available... he might not look like this...

Or like this...

Or maybe like this...

He looked typical enough although he was at all the prettiest thing around... Yeah, he's a kitty - my precious, precious kitty...

Sunny... Sunny left me yesterday - he was bitten to death by some S-T-U-P-I-D dogs of my neighbour's. Those stupid mutha-fuckin' dogs... they even tried to bite me the other day. If I knew all these would happen, I would have beat them to death first. Stupid dogs... stupid breed, stupid, stupid, stupid!

Rest in peace, my dear, dear Sunny...
