Hartz Chicken Buffet

You're loving fried chicken, grilled chicken or even curry chicken? If your mind is all about chicken, chicken and more chicken, then, do consider on giving Hartz a visit because in Hartz, everything is about chicken, chicken and more and more chicken!

If you love KFC or McD's so much but you're getting tired of their typical same-taste fried chickens, there's another reason for you to go to Hartz.

I have been to Hartz for like... hmm... I think 4 times and thoroughly, the ambiances at the four different Hartz' restaurants are not bad. Let's see... I've been to Hartz in Sunway, Bintulu and twice at different Hartz' branches at Kuching.

You pay the amount of not more than RM20 inclusive of tax for adult and for children of 1 metre and below, it's not even more than RM10.

The fried chickens and other dishes at Hartz aren't so bad if you ask me... Take a look...

The cheese macaroni was good the other day when I got there but too bad because they don't serve it everyday. If you love mashed potatoes so much, go to KFC instead.

Deng, deng, deng... it's time to introduce to you all the desserts served at Hartz. I like the desserts there especially the cinnamon cakes and breads. They taste good. If you so happen to be at Hartz, try out their Crunchy Dessert and you'll know why I love the buttery taste of it.

Honestly, I wouldn't say their chickens are good because I still think KFC serves the BEST fried chicken among all the fast-food restaurants in Malaysia. As for McD's, I don't quite like their fried chicken but I love their chicken nuggets and fries.

Anyway, I don't wanna judge much about their food because it's subject to personal likings.

Sushi Station @ Sg. Wang

Craving Japanese buffet but can't afford Saisaki or Jogoya, in addition to that, you wanna go to other places besides Shogun?

No, not Sushi King as they don't have buffet. Consider going to Sushi Station instead. It's RM20++ cheaper than Saisaki and around RM40++ cheaper than Jogoya at Starhill.

Personally, I don't really like going to Sg. Wang because it's like jam-packed with people of all ages 24//7. No matter what day or time you're going to Sg. Wang, it's always crowded, so, if I could avoid, you wouldn't be able to see me there. But then, I can't deny the fact that stuffs sold in Sg. Wang are cheaper than elsewhere - even some of the food (exception for KFC or McD's).

After we found out that there is a Japanese Restaurant on the sixth floor of Sg. Wang, we were thrilled to go and try their food and since they serve buffet as well, we were more than happy. So, the other day, 10 of us went there.

~ 10 of us - quite some time back ~

The best thing of all, this restaurant serves not only sushi-s but they serve also seafood like unagi, salmon, chicken or beef teriyaki and stuffs like that - you can keep on ordering them if you go for the buffet package!

They have oyster too but food like oyster can only be ordered once since it's expensive but still, it's oyster and nothing can change that.

~ Yummy oyster ~

The cutest thing is that they have train to 'transport' their sushi-s like this...

During my first and second visit to Sushi Station, I'd say I like their food a lot, not the sushi-s but it's the food-that-you-can-keep-on-ordering. Nice and yummy. I wouldn't advice you to go for their sushi-s because Sushi King is definitely still the best sushi-provider. Haha. Look how happy all of us look...

And we ended up looking like this because we had a fight over our food...

~ Apa tengok-tengok? Gimme back my food ~

Okay, that was just a joke... Haha. We didn't fight or anything, we were just putting on an act. Some super posers we are!

Things went wrong during my third visit there to celebrate AM's birthday. Their salmons were not fresh and they were a little bit stale but still, they were served to us! We ended up throwing most of the food we ordered - wasted!

Nevertheless, if you haven't try it, you can still go and have a try of their food.

Jogoya @ Starhill

This is a follow-up entry on the buffet we had in Saisaki at Wisma UOA II. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Saisaki and that was what prompted me to try out Jogoya, Starhill.

If you're wondering what Jogoya is, I'll make the long story short - Jogoya serves buffet meals and it is a chain restaurant from Taiwan. Here, in Malaysia, Jogoya is situated in Starhill Gallery at Bukit Bintang.

Jogoya serves super fresh seafood like fresh oyster, prawns, crabs and so on... Look at the freshness of the oyster we had...

With a little bit of lime, those oysters tasted so heavenly (applied to people to like raw food only). Look at where they put the oysters before we picked them up.

The counter looks heavenly, right? I think so too.

Besides the oysters, they have freshly made on-the-spot sushi-s for you! You can pick up as many sushi-s as you want and even if you cannot finish them, it won't be a big deal like some other buffet-style restaurants.

I personally prefer the sashimi and sushi-s at Saisaki if you ask me. Don't ask me why, I just prefer it at Saisaki.

Jogoya also serves deep-friend seafood like Tempura and others... Their tempuras are really, really and heavenly nice.

The best thing about Jogoya is that they have birthday cakes for birthday boys and birthday girls if that day so happen to be your birthday. Look...

Nice cake, right?

They even have whole bar full of cakes, desserts, puddings and ice-creams like Haagen Dazs, Baskin Robbins and Gelatomio (shit, I don't know the spelling).

WTF! You can actually sit in Jogoya just to have their ice-creams! My goodness!!! I love ice-creams, I *heart* them to death.

After surfing for some information about Jogoya, AT and SY went there with me. We were so happy with so many food that we actually forgotten to try their cocktail.

With just one sip, I fell in love with their cocktail - really nice. I'm not sure of the name of the cocktail but it sure was nice.

Additional picture... I think that the picture below looks nice - colour blending of the drinks we took.

They even have fresh coconut if you crave for coconut juice. Other than that, they have soups, dim sums, BBQ food and bla, bla, bla. I can't even remember all of the food available that day.

I still prefer Saisaki at the end of the day.

Anyway, it's still up to personal preferences.

Saisaki @ Wisma UOA II

Yes, I'm BIG, a SUPER BIG fan of Japanese food with a SUPER BIG APPETITE for Japanese food. You better believe it because you know what? I went to Saisaki Restaurant with my mum and brother two months ago to satisfy my inner desire for Japanese food.

Yeah, my brother is one big fan of Japanese food too. On the other hand, mum hasn't got a very big appetite, it's always not advisable to bring her for buffet. She told me she wanna have porridge with salty eggs at Saisaki.

My goodness... You see... We went there for dinner and the price is RM55 per pax exclusive of tax and mum said she wanna eat porridge with salty eggs???

We fainted... Me brother and I were so alarmed that we didn't know how to answer her. Instead of having these (cheese-baked oysters)...

These (salmon-inspired sushi-s)...

And these (snails, squids, scallops, salmons)...

Even these (more salmons, unagi, tako and bla, bla, bla)...

And the best soft-shelled crabs ever...

Or even the nicest fish-dishes around...

...she said she wanna have porridge with salty eggs? How could she betray the food? Muahaha... We managed to talk her into eating all those in the end even though porridge is provided there. They even serve different types of rice, noodles and stuffs like that if you're craving for carbs.

Ah, I didn't mention Saisaki is buffet-based restaurant right? Yeah, it is. So, it's eat-whatever-you-want.

All the food are prepared at counters like this...

Cool, right? Haha... Then, go to Saisaki. But then, let me warn you before you begin snap-snapping away because pictures are forbidden in Saisaki. I was being told not to take pictures of their food when I was busy doing so. That's the reason I don't have many pictures of their food.

Anyway, if you feel like going to Saisaki, the address and location is as below:

Unit No. 1 - 9, 1st Floor,
Wisma UOA II, No. 21,
Jalan Pinang,
50450 Kuala Lumpur.
