An angelic zombie after all...

I just got back from a gathering...

Everything started as early as 9.30a.m. and ended at 10p.m.

Now, you can imagine how crazy my life is. I even fell asleep during class with my eyes wide open. Please salute me for being able to sleep with my eyes open.

Since darling asked to see my zombie look alike pictures after a long day, here goes nothing...

I was trying hard enough to look fresh, despite being dead tired. Muahahahaha... I think I'm a good pretender, right, people?

Anyway, it took me a while trying to get the correct angle to look fresh and after few a few minutes went by... this is how I look like...

Starting to get bored of camwhoring alone... Life sucks if you're alone, really!

Believe me! I hate to be alone and yeah, I'm alone and super duper dislike it so much that after another 5 minutes, I look half dead like this...

I cannot pretend to look fresh already... that is how I look like now - zombie, an angelic zombie and of course a pretty one and going to bed now...

Good night, everyone!

I love you but I hate you!

I think most of my close friends are aware that I am doing 3 different jobs and at the same time, my third semester just started and life is hellishly hectic these days. Perhaps, with a little exception that sometimes, on certain Fridays, I get to see YT at Midvalley before class.

If you're not sure of my job scopes, I'm going to tell you what I'm doing for life and believe me, life sucks big time now because at the end of each day, I'll collapse to my bed even before bed time and slept for two hours or more before waking up around 8p.m. or so to get online and do some stuffs before going back to bed.

Well, people, this is my life and I'm going to tell you the story of my life!

It all started out with lack of Vitamin M. Even though my parents said I need not worry anything that is related to money when I'm studying but I'm one hell of an egoistic person that refuse to ask them for money.

I'm totally crazy, right?

So, it all happened one particular day when all of a sudden, my brother dragged me into Starbucks, The Weld and told me to get a job because I needed a life! Alright, now tell me, how many elder brothers out there are just like mine?

I applied and got the job about 10 days later. I was more than delighted to learn that I would start working the very next day.

The few days into working, I was dead tired because never in my whole life I had to drag and arrange around 24 tables with 96 chairs every morning if I'm doing opening and clearing and chaining them if I'm doing closing.

I was at the verge of breaking down to know that I've to go through a life like hell to earn like RM4.75 per hour and it was really sad because the main reason why I wanted to get a job was to earn bucks to support myself. After a thorough thought of why others can do it while I can't, I came to the decision to hold on.

True enough, with determination you'll pull through and I did. Here I am today, still working for Starbucks and loving each and every moment spent there even though the job is dead tiring with the salary like peanuts!

I love the company of everyone at Starbucks, The Weld and I love everyone there... I mean how can you not love your job when you can communicate with different types of people or there are even times when customers show interest in you!

Indeed, I'm very grateful to have bumped into this bunch of friends at Starbucks who have taught me a lot ever since the first day I joined them in December 2008. I mean, with a manager as understanding as Dee, who over time, became one of the person I love talking to, how can you not like Starbucks, The Weld?

Indeed, I'm very much grateful that Dee understands my hectic schedule and tried to help out as often as possible.

That is Dee and Navin, camwhoring with my camera. Well... honestly, I appreciate every single moment spent with these bunch of people!

You all rock!

At the end of the day, I love my job but the thing is, the pay is too little and the working hours are just too long for the pay!

Alright, let's move on to the second job of mine - lecturer.

I've to admit that I'm not a person who can teach well. Even though dad and the majority of his siblings teach, I just can't bring myself to the thought that one day I'll be teaching but here I am today, teaching.

Dammit...

You know, the best thing about being a lecturer is that it's easy to teach those college students because they are grown-ups and things are just so easy since you don't need to explain term by term, vocabulary by vocabulary, in all 3 languages.

I'm not a morning person but having to wake up early in the morning and to travel all the way from KL to PJ is just like a curse! My class is at 10am, so I need to wake up around 8 every Wednesday and get ready latest by 9am before starting my journey.

Before the class, alright, this is worse than a curse - preparing slides!

Dammit... I really never like doing extensive and in-depth reading but since I need to prepare slides for every lesson for 14 weeks, I need to read, read and read!

Goodness, I think I've gone mad from all the readings!

This is a torture - like skinning me off and waiting for me to die slowly...

The final job would be the home tutor.

Honestly, the salary for home tutor is really quite irresistible to resist, so I took up the job since first of all, the salary at Starbucks isn't much. Even if being a part-time lecturer does pay off well but still, it's not sufficient since there are just so many things I need to pay off every month. This has not include shopping yet.

Talking about shopping - darn... I haven't even shop for quite some time already! Life has been so freaking hectic that even if I have the ka-ching thingy, I don't have the time to wander around shopping malls.

Let's not divert you else where and talk about the home tutor thingy. Shit... I did tell myself, teaching is not my field and it has been proven that teaching is really NOT my field.

I hate kids and I always will... I really have had HARD time trying to teach a bunch of Primary One kids for the past one month and I was screaming at them the other day when he said, "Teacher, why are you so stupid one?"

My response was, "I am stupid, right? Why not, you come and sit at my place and TEACH me instead. Tell me why grammar should be this way and not that way."

The boy looked at me with wide-opened eyes without any response.

I was honestly irritated with that kiddo but another 2 of the kids stepped on my patience limit too especially when after teaching them the same thing over and over for more than 1 hour.

I really don't want to say this but somehow, I don't know what's wrong with those kids. I mean, how can you forget the thing that you've learned just a minute ago?

Argh... if this situation goes on, I will commit suicide earlier than anyone!

Alright, alright, maybe not to the extent of commiting suicide but I think I'll go mad faster than the water-drinking rate...

My life is freakishly mad, right?

At the end of the day, I still hate kids. Alright, I know most of you - attached or single, you guys love kids but you don't need to come and influence me to like the brats. Believe me, you'll never succeed! Muahaha...

All in all, I really have a love-hate relationship with all my jobs!

Love, all the way from Meow City...

Some mysterious person made a visit to KL just two weeks ago.

You know, even before he came to KL, I had to book one tiny slot of his time here just to meet up with him. What to do? This mysterious person, you know, is an all-time busy big shot and if you want to date or go out with him, you need to make an appointment with his secretary!

Well, lucky for me I did make an appointment with him 10 days before he came to KL or else I wouldn't be so lucky to meet up with this big shot person whom I haven't seen for the past 2 years or more.

Asking if I miss him or not, heck, yes! After all, he's still my ever so precious and supportive darling, right? Okay, I'll stop being so yucky just in case you guys have just taken your meals and I don't want to make you vomit.

Our first stop was at Kayu Nasi Kandar, SS2 because my sister was tagging along that morning and I had to send her back to her college after breakfast at Kelana Jaya.

We had our fair dose of Nasi Lemak and darling ordered an additional Roti Pisang. Ah, sorry, people, no pictures to share with you guys. Muahahahahaha... Go to Kayu Nasi Kandar and order their Roti Pisang on your own!

After dropping off my beloved sister at her college, darling and I went to The Curve. Since it was a little too early to walk around, we made our stop at Starbucks for our morning dose of caffeine.

It was then, I noticed somebody was snapping away with me being the limelight!

~ Now you see... ~

I am not a morning person, so you can probably guess why I looked so ugly. I know, please don't remind me that I'm ugly.

Thank you.

But then, he managed to take another picture of me with the oh-so-sweet and the girl-next-door look. Sorry, it's a self-proclaimed sweet and girl-next-door titles. Please don't be jealous, okay? The reason is simply because I have a darling that can take splendid pictures of me when I'm not noticing and you don't. Hahahaha...

~ Now you don't... ~

Joking.

I know it's lame.

Our next stop was the infamous Ikea... We were too full to go for their infamous meatballs but we went for the hotdogs...

Salivating yet, people? Hehe... If you're not, I bet you will when you see the next picture...

If you're not salivating again, maybe you can go to sleep and dream about hotdogs. Hahaha... Gosh, why am I being such a devilish person here?

When I say he's a very busy person, I do mean that he's really busy because even when I've dated him...

He was very busy... The conversation went like this...
Him: I'm on leave, please don't call me...
XXX: You've just earned USD$100,000!
Him: Are you sure?
XXX: Positive.
Him: *dumb-founded*
He was dumb-founded because he didn't know what to do with so much money all in a sudden. Hahaha... Just look at his expression - very serious, isn't it? No la, he was actually on the line with his mum. Hello, auntie!

Alright, last picture of me posing with our hotdogs before galloping them down into our tummies with satisfaction!

Don't you just love me, people?

The highlight of the day should be the Fish Spa we went to together at Times Square.

Just look at his face, it portrayed happiness when he saw those fishies biting and eating away the dead skin. The verdict - ticklish but feels good!

~ He is one happy person ~

I guess a picture paints a thousand words. Anyway, I have one video to share with you all - you can hear us talking to each other in the video.

After that, another picture taken during the spa - it's a must-take picture!

Gosh, do you guys notice Paul Frank? Hahaha... He wore such a cute t-shirt, didn't he? Mine was the old, trusted Giordano.

Okay, out of topic.

Before I go... one FINAL picture to show you guys...

I love, love, love, love, love, love and LURVE this picture to bits! Perhaps I looked cute in the picture or perhaps, according to PL, this is one of the sweetest pictures we have taken together. Now, I think you have to agree with me that darling takes superb pictures. Hahaha...

Anyway... Good night people!

Full House @ NZX

This is one of the many backdated entries because I was really occupied with lotsa stuffs and then again, I just got the pictures from my sister a while ago.

Anyway, we finally went to NZX at Kelana Jaya the other day to celebrate my brother and sister's birthday. Before that, we've heard quite a lot that Full House is really a nice place and I've been planning to go there for such a freaking long time already!

Our first impression when we got there to Full House was that, it really is a nice place with almost everything white in colour - purity, I guess. We proceeded to find a seat and continued to camwhore away. Since we were too lazy to walk around that day, not many pictures were taken.

To cut the story short, lemme just show you what we ordered that day... I'm really too lazy to blog since the weather is damn hot out there and I need to go jogging in a while...

The total bill of the day was RM160 for all those. On the whole, I don't really think their food is at all that great or alluring but the presentation of the dishes was QUITE okay. Giving the quality of the food and the price, I don't think I will go back to Full House again because honestly, I'd say the price doesn't go well with the food quality.

Out of 5 stars, I'd only give it a 1.5 stars, sorry, Full House, I'm not a big fan of fancy-looking food without fancy-tasting food.

After that, it was time to camwhore somewhere else, which was outside Full House.

We found some characters from Walt Disney around NZX. It was Mickey and Minnie Mouse in the first place and after that, we passed by my favourite Donald Duck...

We walked around a little bit more before meeting up with the second Minnie Mouse and I decided to be her best friend...

But my brother who forever claims that he has terrifying photography skill took the picture above and he totally made me doubt his photography skill.

So, in order to compensate for his lousy photography skill earlier, he told me that he would make it better, hence...

On the whole, I do like the second picture. I was attempting Minnie Mouse's pose. Yes, I love attempting people's poses. It's one of the most fun things to do when you're bored or trying to find something interesting to do.

Lastly, the picture of old Jack from The Night Before Christmas...

Well, both my sister and I failed to attempt Jack and his sweetheart... Look at our faces. Hahaha... Stupidly funny but we like it. Hahaha...

Aherm.

Alright, good night...

Love from Daiso

When it comes to make-up products, I am usually very particular about the products I purchase or going to purchase. I usually do a lot of researches before I finally decide to buy certain products. I'd say 90% of the products I have are branded ones because I don't want to wake up in the morning with a ruined face due to the use of cheapo make-up products.

Somehow, I was proven wrong - I don't know why... well, yeah, high maintenance is just another word to describe me so, beware my future husband, your future wife here is uberly high maintenance. Muahaha...

We shall leave that topic out, shall we?

Anyway, I was out with Darlingkin last week and was over at Daiso, The Curve. I know, I haven't blog about anything on our date yet because I'm waiting for him to blog about it. Haha... I have yet to edit the pictures but coming soon, I promise.

Geez, I get diverted pretty easily, don't I?

Well, we were at Daiso when I checked out the make-up products available because I've read the review from Connie regarding the products there. I was very doubtful of the foundation, so, I didn't buy it. After half an hour to one hour or maybe more than that... these were what I have bought...

1. Concealer
2. Blusher
3. Eyebrow pencil
4. Eyeshadow

Total damage to my purse - RM20. Ah, RM20 is still affordable for 4 products, right? I mean when I bought the infamous Empro Eyebrow Pencil, it cost me RM38.80! I can't deny the fact that this eyebrow pencil does it's job in a superb manner and I really love it but imagine how many beauty products I can get with RM38.80 at Daiso - seven, alright, seven!

First of all, the concealer really does do magic. I mean for a tiny amount of RM5, the concealer is really good already! It covers my zit and blemish with medium to full coverage! This is worth buying!

Next up is the blusher...

Highlight is included in the blusher set. The only thing I don't like about this set is that it is too powdery and the colours don't shine through well. I have to put layers and layers of the pinkish shade before you can notice the blusher on my cheeks.

Well, RM5 only, so, no complain.

Third is the eyeshadow set...

Can you see the shimmers? Gosh, it's even more majestic than that in real life! The colour is really beautiful, mind you!

I was really surprised with the eyeshadow in fact! Look at the pigmentation of the eyeshadow below...

It can ALMOST beat Coastal Scent's 88 colour palatte already if it is not so powdery! Damn... I fell in love with the colours right on the spot when I saw it. Even Darling was amazed how long I could stay there just to choose the right colours for myself!

I attempted a look using all the products I bought from Daiso the next day and this is what I have achieved!

Is it bad? Please tell me I look good, pretty please...

Close-up pictures!

Sorry for the ugly zits! I didn't conceal and was just attempting and didn't wanna waste foundation or anything. Stingy me!

On the whole I am quite satisfied with the products. Out of a full five-star rating, I'd give the products a 3. I'm being quite generous already!

Alright, before I go... here you go, a picture of me, attempting to pose like Amber Chia...

In the end... I failed... so, I'm going to bed now... Good night, everyone!

Bangkok - Day 6

Day 6 at Bangkok was spent at the infamous floating market, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. If I'm not mistaken, I heard that it is the biggest floating market in Bangkok.

Anyway, it doesn't matter, lemme just go through and finish the entries on Bangkok. I know I'm a boring person because there are actually a lot of pictures of Bangkok but I can't be arsed to edit every single one to share with you guys. So, I just picked those in which I think I look good in. Muahahaha... too bad for you...

We woke up as early as 6a.m. to get ready for the mini van to pick us up that day... It has always been a torture to wake up early because I'm NOT a morning person! Whatever it was, I got up all the same because we paid 1200 Baht for the trip to Damnoen Saduak and Crocodile Farm.

Above are pictures of our journey to discover the floating market. Yeah, we took a boat, a boat with motor there. We also camwhored while getting there!

Hahaha... My sunglasses spoilt already by the time I got back to KL. Muahahaha... I can destroy things easily with my weight.

Sorry for diverting you.

So, after few minutes, we finally got to the floating market and these are the pictures of the market, close-up and distant away.

We paid 150 Baht to get on the long boat that bopped through the market. Haha... Shouldn't be bopping but I can't find the right word though. We camwhored again...

We also saw an alien thingy at the market! Remember the Alien and Terminator or Predator thingy? Muahaha... it reminded us of that!

Wuah... you need to pay 20 Baht to take a picture with the horrendous-looking creature? Count me out! I can take a picture of the creature without paying a single cent from a distant away, so, who would want to pay? Certainly, not me!

After the floating market, our next destination was the Crocodile and Elephant Farm...

The elephants were damn humourous! They can play soccer like Beckham! Hahaha... I like the elephant with Torres name on it. It's just so cute!

We proceeded to the crocodile show after that in which, I'd say it was a little lame because those guys were like nothing much to do except to disturb the crocodiles!

They went and pull the crocodiles' tails and stuffs like that to entertaint the audience. I have several videos on the show but I have yet to upload them onto youtube so, please be patient and also, it is very dependent on my mood. If my mood is good, I might share it, if it's not, too bad.

Anyway, we all saw the biggest catfishes ever at the Crocodile Farm!

Can fish, fry and eat them up for dinner some more. So damn big and fat and super huge-appetite-eater!

Few more pictures before I retire for the night...

Finally, I got this stupid-looking souvenir for 150 Baht that I kinda regret afterwards...

I totally wasted my money on something so ugly-looking!
