NYX Haute Jersey Leopard Couture

Note - this will be a scheduled entry because P1 isn't working well at my place and I have to blog from the nearest cafe with Wi-Fi but the Wi-Fi here isn't anything great.

Update - NYX products can now be bought at Colours Cosmetics if you are from Malaysia and Singapore!

About 2 weeks ago, I finally got my NYX Haute Jersey Palette courtesy of Joanne. I didn't have enough time to try this palette out because I have been really bothered and busy with my thesis.

Anyway, if you don't know yet, NYX came out with this palette some time ago. I wasn't really interested in getting this palette initially because I heard the colour payoff of these eyeshadows is crappy.

Basically, you get quite a lot of products in this palette.

So, if you're an on-the-go person, I'd say, just grab this palette and you'll have everything that you need to go with you.

Lemme go through one by one the thing I like and dislike about this palette.

Let's go to the PROS first.

Did I mention I love the packaging? Well, if I haven't, yes, I love the packaging. Pigmentation of lipglosses, blushers and bronzers is AMAZING!

These products that come along in the palette actually work better than those single products that I own in my collection. Even though some may label the packaging as bulky but hey, comparing to hell lot of products that you bring when you're on the go, this isn't considered bulky, okay?

Okay, now, for the CONS.

The thing that I don't like about this palette is the pigmentation of the eyeshadows.

Do you see what I mean? Some eyeshadows like the shimmery greys and blacks are pigmented but for others, they are like bleh, I can live without them...

Even though I did mention the pigmentation for the bronzers is amazing, honestly, the shades are too orangey on my skin tone and I felt like I've mudpied my face whenever I use the bronzers... Sad, sad, sad max.

Anyway, here's a look I've created with this palette.

I shall say no more and if you're interested, you may just find someone who resells NYX products in Malaysia to lay your lands on this product.

Price - USD$25
Product - 2.5 out of 5
Packaging - 4 out of 5
Availability - NYX Cosmetics
Re-purchase - I doubt if I'll get this again.

I was honestly hoping this palette would be ofI the NYX single eye shadow quality but well... colours do show up if you're using a primer but if you're not they don't really show up so well. Urban Decay... I still have long way to go to finish my Naked. Luckily I am not really keen on getting Naked 2.
